DAVID AND GOLIATH David and Goliath is a well-known story from the Bible. It is about a young boy named David and a giant warrior named Goliath. Goliath was a huge man, very tall and strong. He was a soldier in the army of the Philistines, and he challenged the Israelites to send someone to fight him. Goliath said, "If you win, we will serve you. But if I win, you must serve us." The Israelites were afraid because no one was brave enough to fight Goliath. But David, a young shepherd, said he would fight him. David believed that with God’s help, he could win.
